RYAN FULLER

Ryan is an experienced Planning Consultant and Managing Director of Fuller Long. His main aim is to help clients achieve their goals by delivering expert town planning advice as early in the planning process as possible.
On graduating, Ryan joined Surrey Heath Borough Council, where he gained valuable experience in the day-to-day functions of a Local Authority. After spending time in the USA, he then moved to a successful private-sector planning consultancy, where he helped advise a wide range of clients managing to use his first-hand knowledge of the inner workings of the town planning system to his advantage.
He became a freelance planning consultant in 2007 and co-founded Fuller Long with James Long in 2010, creating a co-operative of independent chartered town planners and property professionals. Over the past nine years, he has spearheaded the business’s direction and growth, working on numerous residential and commercial schemes while also establishing the company’s Heritage & Listed Building consultancy capabilities.
Having worked in both the private and public realm, Ryan has worked on projects ranging from commercial, residential, leisure and mixed-use developments, through to strategic housing, site promotion, conservation area planning permission, listed building consent and many different changes of use applications. Clients have included landowners, developers and retail and leisure operators, as well as charities, housing associations, local government and community groups.
Today, Ryan continues to lead and grow Fuller Long’s in-house and experienced freelance planning teams, each equipped with the diverse, complementary skill mix needed to deliver comprehensive planning, heritage and highways services. By matching the individual team members strength and experience to each project and location Fuller Long operates as a truly bespoke company, with a clear focus on creating a smooth and collaborative planning experience for every client.
